Redován

Redován occupies a narrow meeting place between the irrigated Vega Baja and the southern face of the Sierra de Callosa. The Escorratel acequia crosses its cultivated ground while paths rise almost immediately from the streets into limestone.

The contrast explains both halves of the municipality: a long history as an agricultural estate and lordship on the plain, and a modern identity built around walking, climbing and careful access to the sierra.
